It’s been almost two years since I gave my website a refresh. Over the last decade I’ve used Wordpress, Jekyll, Ghost, (back to) Jekyll, Hugo, and most recently Ghost (again).
For this refresh, I wanted something where I had more control over the gubbins behind the scenes1. So, back to Hugo, or Jekyll? No. For this refresh I’ve moved the site over to the Astro framework, and it’s ruddy marvellous.
I am slowly migrating content from my old site, so you may see some older articles re-appearing in your feed readers2. Redirects have been configured with Netlify.
